September 2026 Bandcamp Friday

September 4th was Bandcamp Friday¹. I bought a few albums

PAON’s Philosophie du Soi is a striking album. Even though PAON is described as avant-garde jazz I can’t help but feel they’d be an excellent choice for an opening anime theme.

The Linda Lindas are always on my radar and Gotta Get Out is vintage fresh punk-fueled power pop.

I can’t argue this is a bit of a nostalgia pick but The Decemberists live in 2021 are still amazing.

Fever Ray is also a nostalgia pick. I was listetning to this album late at night doing homework and if I had a heart I would love you.

Guitar riff heavy electro pop is also a nostalgia pick.

Proto emo is a proto nostalgia pick.

Björk is an absolutely beloved nostalgia pick.

Thom Yorke is a nostalgia pick.
